and rebuilt in central Massachusetts on a large plot of land

Life in the 17th and 18th century was very difficult, but the aesthetics of style and detail in both the dwellings and the furnishings from these periods are warm and inviting.  The  decorative appearance combined with modern conveniences can create a very mellow and inviting atmosphere in which to live.  There are still homes available to fill your needs, whether for onsite restoration or for complete relocation. Brand new reproductions of other existing homes or a total new design incorporating old "rules of thumb" can also help in your goal to own some history.

A new barn built in the 18th century tradition

for your collection of animals or "things"

Our product includes restoration, new construction of home or barn and outbuildings, interior construction with devoted attention to period design.  Drawings are rendered with each project.  Great attention is paid to coordinating ideas of the homeowner with period design and safety standards of today's building codes and the goal of making the home pleasing to the eye.

Post and beam frames are a specialty of Circa 1700, Inc. They are great to use for carriage sheds and barns since the whole interior is exposed.  Houses can be post and beam as well or can be conventionally built and can cosmetically be made to look like post and beam.  Period materials can be used for this also.
